In the last century, this factory was a pillar of the cotton yarn and fabric industry. “Hilados de Mexico, S.A.” , owner of “LaTextilera”, established its factory in the 1950s, on land of approximately three hectares, consisting of three warehouses mainly dedicated to the manufacture of fabrics for sheets, tablecloths and towels. It had storage, spinning, dyeing, packaging and weaving areas, providing employment for more than 300 people.
In the 1970s, the rise of synthetic fibers such as nylon changed consumer preferences, leading companies like this to lay off staff to stay operational. In 1982, the factory's employees went on strike, which lasted for more than four years due to the loss of files following the 1985 earthquake.
Finally, the authorities ruled in favor of the employees, who decided to sell the property. This is how in the year 2024 this innovative concept emerged, with the intention of elevating celebrations and events to a higher level. A space that preserves the essence of its history for more than 30 years, combined with the best features of modern event rooms.
A fascinating fusion between the imposing walls of the old factory and modern and sophisticated elements, complemented by extensive and exquisite gardens. This unique combination allows each visitor to immerse themselves in a haven of peace, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
In our venue, nature and elegance come together in harmony. Our gardens of more than 1000 square meters surround a beautiful lake with an exclusive deck for wedding ceremonies or yoga events, relaxation and more.

Hilados de México was founded on land of more than 10,000 meters on one side of the Garden Pantheon near San Angel in a very sparsely populated area.
Cotton is at its best, making Hilados de México a solid company with a payroll of more than 300 employees.

A new era in the textile world is beginning to emerge, and the arrival of new synthetic fibers to replace cotton in the region causes sales of Yarns from Mexico to plummet and the company has to reduce its workforce by half, plunging into a crisis that lasted for the next few years.
A strike organized by the union of dismissed employees of the company who were not yet receiving what they were entitled to causes the company to close and a legal battle begins between the owners of Hilados de México and their workers, achieving a definitive closure and then the property is sold off, leaving it abandoned for the next 30 years.

The recovery of the structure and terrain that were severely damaged after so many years without any use begins.
Work began on the reinforcement of the structure and subsequent adaptation and modernization of the old factory to turn it into a prestigious and innovative event hall that preserves its industrial essence.
